Frameless Shower Doors and Enclosures
Frameless shower door enclosures are a sleek and modern way to update your bathroom. Sturdy hardware clips or headers are used to keep the panes of glass safely in place without distracting the eye with full vertical frames.
Top Shelf Closets & Glass specializes in cutting and installing custom glass so you can achieve any desired look with your frameless glass shower.
Top Shelf works closely with home builders, renovators, infill specialists and retail clients to exceed customer expectations. All of our custom glass is cut and installed to the highest standards with tempered safety glass.
Frameless Glass Shower Benefits
A huge benefit for homeowners is the increased sense of space that a frameless glass shower can provide.
Clear glass can make the shower seem almost invisible, opening up the flow of the room and allowing more light to shine through the space. Textured glass can be incorporated to provide greater privacy without blocking out any light.
Seamless shower enclosures allow you to show off eye-catching design features such as custom tiling, unique faucets or high-end fixtures. Frameless designs are also extremely easy to clean, with fewer spaces where moisture has the chance to build up.
If your budget or space doesn’t allow for a full frameless design, semi-frameless glass shower doors are an attractive alternative that still offer the clean look of a modern shower enclosure. Talk to our staff if you have any questions about what would work best for your desired project.
Sliding and Pivot Glass Shower Doors
Pivot shower doors offer the most classic frameless feel, as they can be installed with the least amount of visible hardware. They are either hung with clips and hinges on the sides or installed to pivot at the top and bottom.
Sliding doors in frameless showers use a clever design to roll along a bar at the top of the door, much like a shower curtain, while using a minimal amount of hardware. This ensures longevity, safety and ease of use without taking away from the aesthetic appeal of the frameless design. The top fixture can be low-profile or visually striking, depending on the desired look.
Because everything we do is custom fit to the project at hand, we can help you achieve any look without ever sacrificing on quality or style.
Frameless Shower Door Installation
Top Shelf uses high-quality tempered glass that is custom fit for your frameless shower. Installed with durable and heavy 10MM glass, these frameless glass shower doors are stunning, sleek, and modern.
Our skilled professionals will come out to your property to take all necessary measurements, manufacture and customize the pieces at our in-house glass facility, and then return to complete the installation.
Due to the heavier glass and hardware used in frameless enclosures, it is not recommended to complete the installation on your own. Proper installation is especially important to avoid breakage.
Frameless Shower Design
Top Shelf can help you with shower design solutions. In some cases, water can escape more easily from frameless shower enclosures during use. A good design can account for this by strategically placing the shower head to control the spray, slanting the glass or installing a drip rail, and using compatible materials in surrounding spaces.
